_fr Je suis encore perplexe devant le total silence en retour de mes questions tournant autour d'un seul sujet, la recherche de {b la simplicité en toute matière}. Afin de donner une image à cette quête, j'avais repris l'acronyme [[RISC|https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Processeur_à_jeu_d%27instructions_réduit]], "{b R}educed {b I}nstruction {b S}et {b C}omputer", forgé par quelques ingénieurs cherchant à lutter contre l'engorgement des processeurs, l'empilement de fonctionnalités nouvelles, en réponse aux demandes des utilisateurs et conduisant à une asphixie certaine.

In order to give an image to this quest, I had taken the acronym [[RISC|https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Processeur_à_jeu_d%27instructions_réduit]], "{b R}educed {b I}nstruction {b S}and {b C}omputer", forged by some engineers trying to fight against the clogging of processors, the piling up of new functionalities, in response to users' demands and leading to a certain asphixis.

_fr J'avais donc repris cet Acronyme sous une signification nouvelle, "{b R}éponse {b I}mmédiate {b S}ans {b C}omplicaton", applicable à l'utilisateur et non au processeur, et j'avais appliqué l'approche RISC à des domaines aussi divers que l'architecture, la géométrie et le codage. J'en parle dans la page [[no future|http://lambdaway.free.fr/lambdawalks/?view=future]], après l'avoir développé  et appliqué en long et en large dans des cours et [[conférences|http://b2b3.free.fr/confs/]]. 
_en So I had taken this Acronym under a new meaning, "{b R}éponse {b I}mmédiate {b S}ans {b C}omplication", which is french for "immediate response without complication"),  applicable to the user and not to the processor, and I had applied the RISC approach to fields as diverse as architecture, geometry and coding. I talk about it in the [[no future|http://lambdaway.free.fr/lambdawalks/?view=future]] page, having developed and applied it extensively in courses and [[conferences|http://b2b3.free.fr/confs/]].

_fr Pour quels résultats ? Je les qualifierai(s) d'epsilonesques :
_en For what results? I would describe them as epsilonian:

_fr 1) Je ne connais aucun architecte pratiquant le "{b [[dessin aux grains|http://lambdaway.fr/modulor/?view=echelle]]}" dans le cadre de sa production architecturale, sinon de façon occasionnelle. Aucun étudiant, à ma connaissance.
_en 1) I know of no architect who practices "{b [[grain drawing|http://b2b3.free.fr/confs_2019/?view=grain]]}" as part of his architectural production, except occasionally. No students, to my knowledge.

_fr 2) Deux ou trois personnes sont allées assez loin dans les "{b [[formes pascaliennes|?view=pform]]}", Claude Parisel, architecte et professeur à Montréal aujourd'hui à la retraite, et Marine Banéris, docteur et maître assistante à l'ENSA de Marseille Luminy. Tout cela aujourd'hui au placard. 
_en 2) Two or three people went quite far in the "{b [[pascalian forms|?view=pforms]]}", Claude Parisel, architect and professor in Montreal, now retired, and Marine Banéris, doctor and assistant professor at the ENSA of Marseille Luminy. All this today in the wardrobe.

_fr 3) Concernant "{b [[lambdatalk|?view=coding]]}" c'est peut-être un peu mieux, il y a Claude Parisel (un fidèle...) à Montréal, Ward Cunningham à Portland, quelques autres ici et là et bien sûr les fidèles d'epsilonwiki sans qui je me sentirais vraiment seul. Mais personne qui ait vraiment eu l'envie d'utiliser lambdatalk pour explorer des chemins plus profonds, vers cette petite lumière que j'entrevois. Et qui s'affaiblit lentement.
_en 3) As for "{b [[lambdatalk|?view=coding]]}" it's maybe a bit better, there's Claude Parisel in Montreal, Ward Cunningham in Portland, a few others here and there and of course the epsilonwiki faithful without whom I'd be really lonely. But no one who has really had the desire to use lambdatalk to explore deeper paths, towards that little light I see. And which is slowly fading away.
